Denver Dog Boarding

Dog Boarding

While you are away, your dog still gets to play. At K-9 Castle, dog boarding goes above and beyond. It includes doggie daycare during the day and safe and cozy accommodations at night including water and cots or blankets in each individual room.

What to bring during your dogs stay

Food & meds, other supplements or pill pockets.

Dry food must be prepackaged in ziplock bags for each feeding.

Ex.  My dog eats dry food 3 times a day.  There should be 3 bags each with one cup per bag.  DO NOT PUT MEDICATIONS OR SUPPLEMENTS IN WITH THE DRY FOOD.

MEDICATIONS must be in a prescription bottle and supplements, allergy meds, etc must be in their original packaging.

Do not bring – bedding, toys, measuring cups, silverware, clothing or blankets.

Climate Controlled Indoor Play Areas

K-9 Castle has three climate controlled indoor play areas. Tower 1 & 2 is our biggest indoor area and are typically used for our larger dog breeds. Demene is our 2nd largest dog play area and Donjon is our smallest pup play area. Each area has beds, ramps, and other items for our doggie boarding guests to enjoy. All of our indoor areas are climate controlled, heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer months.

Dog Daycare Nap Time

Nap time is from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. for all pups Monday- Saturday. Nap time ensures your pups don’t get over stimulated and have a break to relax and nap in our climate controlled area.

Shaded Outdoor Play Areas

When the weather is nice and warm, your pups will be outside enjoying their play time. Both outdoor areas are shaded, have drinking water access, pools, misting systems and play equipment. Our Denver dog daycare location features a waterfall and pond! During group play, a play attendant remains with the dogs at all times.

Webcams are available during weekdays from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Typical Day at Doggie Daycare

Each individual pup can have a different daycare experience. Most pups will come to daycare and play as much as they can with the other dogs, pools, toys, or our play attendants. The other pups use their daycare day to relax by laying out on the cot beds or receiving lots of attention from our play attendants. However, if our play attendant notices any distress in your pup, they may be moved to an indoor area or a room to relax. We treat your pup(s) like royalty or like our own! A happy and relaxed pup means a safe and positive experience.

At 11:45 a.m., the nap time process begins. Pup(s) come in and are placed into their individual rooms. Once all pups are in and accounted for, lights are turned off and they nap/ relax until 2 p.m. At 2 p.m. they are then taken back to their play group and they get to enjoy their time until they are picked up or 6:30 p.m. for boarding bedtime.
