What to Bring for Your Dog
Before your pup checks into K-9 Castle’s dog boarding facility, make sure to pack the essentials. This ensures a smooth and pleasant experience for both you and your pet.

Note: Medications must be in a prescription bottle and supplements, allergy meds, etc must be in their original packaging.
What NOT to Bring for Your Dog
- Bedding, toys, or blankets (we provide these for your dog’s comfort).
- Measuring cups, utensils, or unnecessary items.
Our team will ensure your pup has everything they need for a cozy and carefree stay.
All dog boarding stays include dog daycare during daycare hours! Dogs will only be in their rooms during breakfast, nap time and overnight. Dogs are let out for a potty break first thing in the morning. They are then placed back in their rooms for breakfast. Their tummies will settle for 30 minutes and then they are taken out to their doggie play group! Then, they will get to play until about 11:45 a.m. where they will be brought in for nap time. After their nap, they go back out to pup play group until about 6:30 p.m. for dinner!

Cooper’s Manor
Small Dog Condos
Cooper’s Manor are our small to medium dog condos. These condos have a middle wall that can be removed to add more space to the condo. Pups are assigned condos and will receive water, a blanket and their food while in their condo overnight.
Thor’s Castle
Medium to Big Dog Rooms
Thor’s Castle are our Medium to Big Dog Rooms (6×4). Pup’s are assigned to these rooms and are provided with cot beds, water and their food overnight.
Suites
Dog Suites – An Upgraded Stay
There are two suites available for boarding pups to stay at our Lakewood location. These suites are 6×8 rooms that house a toddler bed and bedding for a comfy overnight stay. Pup’s are also provided with water and their food overnight. Pups love these beds and often don’t want to leave the comfort of their beds.

A Typical Day at K-9 Castle
A stay at K-9 Castle is filled with activities tailored to your dog’s personality and needs. Here’s what a typical day in our dog boarding program looks like:
Morning Play Sessions: After breakfast, your dog joins supervised playgroups with pups of similar size and temperament. They’ll enjoy our spacious indoor and outdoor play areas, complete with ramps, toys, and shaded spaces.
Nap Time: From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., all dogs relax in their private rooms for a much-needed break. Lights are dimmed, and the atmosphere is calm to promote rest and recovery.
Afternoon Activities: Play resumes in the afternoon with fresh water, plenty of supervision, and lots of fun. Your dog can explore our outdoor areas, splash in the pools, or lounge in the sun.
Evening Wind-Down: For dogs staying overnight, bedtime begins at 6:30 p.m. with comfortable accommodations, ensuring they’re ready for another exciting day.
Our play attendants monitor your pup throughout the day to ensure they’re happy, healthy, and relaxed.
